Mole on the Right Side in Men — What Samudrika Shastra Says
According to Brihat Samhita, moles or marks on the right side of a man's body signal gain; for women the same applies to the left side.
The rule applies to every body part from head to foot.
A mole on the left is weaker in effect, not 'bad' — no need to worry.
Brihat Samhita (52.9) says marks on a man's right side and a woman's left side are more auspicious; on the opposite side the effect is milder.

Frequently asked questions
Is this rule different for men and women?
Brihat Samhita (52.9) says marks on a man's right side and a woman's left side are more auspicious; on the opposite side the effect is milder.
Can the effect of a mole change?
Yes — Samudrika Shastra says good conduct outweighs every bodily mark; a person of good character is considered fortunate even with few good marks.
Should an 'unlucky' mole be removed?
There is no need to remove a mole for astrological reasons. If it changes in size, colour or border, bleeds or itches, see a dermatologist.
