What is kundli matching (guna milan)?
It compares the Moon sign and birth nakshatra of two charts on eight points (ashtakoot) that add up to 36 gunas. It is one input for a marriage decision, not the whole decision.
How many gunas are considered good?
By tradition, a score above about 18 of 36 is considered acceptable, and a higher one better. A high score does not guarantee a happy marriage, and a lower one does not forbid it. Character, health, family and mutual understanding matter far more.
What if one of us is Manglik?

Do I need the exact birth time?
The 36-guna score uses the Moon, so the date and place matter most, but the Moon can change sign or nakshatra close to a boundary, so the time helps. Tick "Time not known" if you do not have it.
