Ants Carrying Eggs — What It Means — What the Texts and Tradition Say
According to Brihat Samhita, ants moving their eggs to higher ground signal rain soon, while ants dropping eggs into water mean rain will hold off.
Land creatures entering water and water creatures coming ashore in the rains mean heavy rain.
Folk belief also links a line of black ants at home with money coming in.
